SEFS Graduation Celebration

Event Comments:

Join us to celebrate the 2024-25 graduates of the UW School of Environmental and Forest Sciences!  Doors open at 12:30.  The ceremony begins at 1:30pm followed by light refreshments outside Kane Hall on Red Square.  We are also providing an online streaming link for those who cannot attend in person.  This livestream link will get listed here once we have that link:  https://sefs.uw.edu/students/graduation/

June 13, 2025 SEFS Graduation Event Schedule:

  • 12:30pm: Doors open at Kane Hall 130.  Overflow Room, Kane Hall 110.
    • Students must register at the sign in table.
    • Students, please arrive no later than 1:00pm.
  • 1:30-3:30pm: Graduation ceremony
  • 3:30pm: Light refreshments, Red Square, just outside of Kane Hall

Cap & Gown Required? / Dress Code

Optional
Cap and Gown (Regalia) is optional, but dress in something nice that you are comfortable walking on the stage. The department also arranged for Stoles this year, see our web page here for ordering information: https://sefs.uw.edu/students/graduation/

Ticket Information:

All audience members, including the graduating student, must have tickets! The Graduating Student ONLY should request all ticket needs through the departmental RSVP site, here:

Parents and guests should not fill out this form. The Form is only for the graduating student to fill out. Thank you.

Parking Information

If you wish to park on campus, parking permits will be required for this event. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the Commencement Registration/Order Form, May 7 to May 25, 2025. Day of parking may be available for additional cost, but lot selection and availability are not guaranteed.
