The French & Italian Studies Graduation is a departmental graduation ceremony honoring the achievements of our French MA, French major, and Italian minor students.

Cap & Gown Required? / Dress Code
Optional
Caps and gowns are strongly encouraged for graduating students but they are not required. Caps and gowns can be ordered on the UW Commencement website.
Ticket Information:
Graduating students will be emailed a link to RSVP and confirm attendance for themselves and their guests.
Parking Information
If you wish to park on campus for this event, a UW Special Event Parking Permit will be required. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the Commencement Registration/Order Form, May 11 to May 24, 2026. Day of parking may be available for additional cost, but lot selection and availability are not guaranteed.
