Please join us at the Department of Anthropology’s annual Graduation Celebration in Kane Hall on Sunday, June 15, 2025, from 2-5pm. Students will receive a formal invitation by email in April 2025. Festivities include keynote speakers, presentation of undergraduate and graduate awards, calling of student names, and presentation of commemorative certificates to students by faculty. Cap & Gown Required? / Dress Code

Caps and gowns are strongly encouraged for graduating students but they are not required. Caps and gowns can be ordered on the UW Commencement website. Business casual is preferred for guests.

Ticket Information:

There are no tickets provided for this event. Students are expected to RSVP via the registration form on the Department of Anthropology's Graduation Celebration page.

Parking Information

If you wish to park on campus for this event, a UW Special Event Parking Permit will be required. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the Commencement Registration/Order Form, Mid May to May 24, 2026. Day of parking may be available for additional cost, but lot selection and availability are not guaranteed.
