We invite you to join the Evans School of Public Policy & Governance in celebrating the graduating Class of 2026 at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 (PDT) at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion. Graduates, guests, faculty, and staff are invited to celebrate with light refreshments after the ceremony in the concourse area.

Cap & Gown Required? / Dress Code
Optional
Graduates are highly encouraged to wear cap and gown. MPA, EMPA, and Ph.D. graduates should also wear the Evans School peacock blue hood. Graduates not wearing cap and gown should wear semi-formal attire.
Ticket Information:
Tickets are not required to attend, graduates will need to RSVP (details available from Student Affairs). Graduates are welcome to invite as many guests as they would like.
Parking Information
If you wish to park on campus for this event, a UW Special Event Parking Permit will be required. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the Commencement Registration/Order Form, May 11 to May 24, 2026. Day of parking may be available for additional cost, but lot selection and availability are not guaranteed.
