The Department of Speech & Hearing Sciences Recognition Ceremony is an important tradition in our department. Participation in the SPHSC Recognition Ceremony is not required, but it is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the many accomplishments of our department’s graduating students. There will be speakers, awards, a procession, and a special slideshow for each cohort!

Cap & Gown Required? / Dress Code

Optional

Regalia is optional, formal attire is requested for graduates who choose to go without.

Ticket Information:

Each graduating student will receive 6 guest tickets. There are no additional tickets available.

Parking Information

If you wish to park on campus for this event, a UW Special Event Parking Permit will be required. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the Commencement Registration/Order Form, Mid May to May 24, 2026. Day of parking may be available for additional cost, but lot selection and availability are not guaranteed.
