Aeronautics & Astronautics Graduation Celebration

4:45 pm - Be There, Be Dressed

Arrive in your cap and gown. Your guests may start to find their seats.

5:00 pm - Start

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 pm.

Tickets  

Graduation tickets will be released in late May after students complete exit surveys. 

Webcasting

We will have a livestream of the ceremony and will post the recording on YouTube after the event.

Arrival & Check-In

• Participating students do not need a ticket (only guests need tickets).
• Students will be directed to check in upon arrival to receive your name card and line-up order.
• Leave backpacks and bags in the car.
• Students are expected to wear business casual attire under their gowns.
• Graduates will walk across the stage, which includes a few stairs up and down. Choose shoes according to your comfort and confidence.

Accessibility

In the ticketing process, you can indicate if you or your guests need accessible accommodations. 

Parking

Parking for all graduation events (including our A&A Department Celebration) as well as the larger UW-Wide Commencement in Husky Stadium) will require the purchase of parking permit(s).

Graduates will be able to pre-purchase campus parking permits for any event they or their guests are attending when they order their cap and gown – via the Registration/Order Form . The Registration/Order Form is the only place graduates can order parking permits for graduation events. The form will allow graduates to purchase parking permits regardless of whether they are attending the UW-Wide Commencement in Husky Stadium, or only attending our A&A Department Graduation celebration.

Limited Mobility Parking Information

Those needing limited mobility parking may purchase a Graduation Event Parking Pass, for the day needed, through the same Registration/Order Form. A Graduation Event Parking Pass can be used in the parking lots listed on the pass and is also valid in any campus disability stall with accompanying state, UW, or government issued disability privilege.
