2026 School of Environmental and Forest Sciences Graduation Celebration

Event Comments:

The 2026 SEFS Graduation Celebration will be held on Friday June 12th in Kane Hall 130. 

Doors will open for guests at 1:00 PM.  This is a ticketed event, everyone entering the auditorium requires a ticket. The Graduating Student will provide these tickets to their guests.

The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM. 

A light reception will be offered for guests immediately following the ceremony at Anderson Hall.

Graduating Students:  
On the day of the event, you need to register so we know you are there!  Registration tables in the Kane Lobby will open at 1 pm.  Please register as early as possible - no later than 1:30 pm.

Formal attire is highly recommended. While cap and gown are not required, most students prefer to wear them. Departmental Stoles are a separate item, and are ordered from our own special supplier, see this page for how to order you stole:

Ticket Information:

This is a ticketed event. Everyone attending, including the graduating student, needs a ticket. Graduating Students please fill out the departmental RSVP form once we make it available. Instructions on where to pick up your tickets will be publicized within the department. We hope to open the RSVP form by April 1. RSVP deadlines:
May 1st: Deadline to have your name included in the SEFS graduation program
May 15th: Deadline to get tickets for this event

Parking Information

If you wish to park on campus for this event, a UW Special Event Parking Permit will be required. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the Commencement Registration/Order Form, Mid May to May 24, 2026. Day of parking may be available for additional cost, but lot selection and availability are not guaranteed.
