The Physics Department holds an annual Graduation Celebration for their students who graduated between autumn 2025 – summer 2026 with UW-Seattle Physics bachelor’s, professional master’s, or doctoral degrees. Business casual is acceptable dress code for everyone, but we encourage students to dress as festively as they wish. Participating graduates may wear a graduation robe if one was ordered.
Ticket Information:
Graduating students must RSVP to participate. The deadline to RSVP is Monday, May 11th at 9am. The RSVP form is linked on the event webpage: https://phys.washington.edu/events/2026-06-12/2026-physics-department-graduation-celebration
We will not be distributing tickets but ask that all registered graduates and their guests arrive on time. A registered, participating graduate may bring as many guests as they requested in the RSVP form. Please do not bring more guests than you requested, as the amount of catering has been determined based on this number.

If you are parking, you must purchase a parking permit through the UW’s Graduation/Order form: https://www.washington.edu/graduation/parking-2/. Padelford Parking Garage is the nearest parking lot to the HUB.

Parking Information
If you wish to park on campus for this event, a UW Special Event Parking Permit will be required. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the Commencement Registration/Order Form, May 11 to May 24, 2026. Day of parking may be available for additional cost, but lot selection and availability are not guaranteed.
